Book Launched December 2015!
New book planned from YardarmPress, a biographical memoir on the life of Phillip Gordon Yeatman (1905-1971).
Author Judy Pearce, Phil’s eldest daughter has researched his story using many ancestral archives.
Phil was a much loved music identity in Adelaide church, Lodge and entertainment circles for all of his life. Pipe organs & pianos were his calling. His is a story of a very full life based in Goodwood and Unley, and further afield. His early travels around the State with Harold Raymond’s concert party provide extra interest. South Australian social history is interwoven with legendary names and institutions from his family background.
A proposed companion volume to his wife Una’s personal memoirs “Treasure Girl.”
